What does the RRGCC do?

Protect Climbing Access

We work to maintain a positive relationship with U.S. National Forest Service, Red River Gorge community leaders, and individual landowners to ensure public access to climbing for ALL.

Land Conservation

As responsible climbers it’s our job to protect and conserve the land that gives us so much. We are stewards striving to build sustainable infrastructure and advocates of LNT ethics to minimize impact on this precious land.

Build Community

From bringing new climbers together for education on climbing stewardship, to rallying folks for a trail day, to taking some time to celebrate at Rocktoberfest, we want to secure climbing for generations to come. From the beginning, we've brought the climbing community together.

Join RRGCC for a very impromptu, but very awesome, dinner party with professional climbers Alex Megos, Christoph Hanke, Anna Liina Laitinen, Jonathan & Eric Hörst! Dinner will be hosted down in the Gorge with food provided by local Revival Ridge Farm. Physivantage will also be throwing in some swag for giveaways that evening!
